On November 17, 2025, a sixth suspect was taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of Jacarie Charles. Dominick Gill, 20, was arrested in Philadelphia by the U.S. Marshals and is awaiting extradition to Columbus.

On November 16, 2025 at 7:19 p.m., Columbus Police Officers responded to the 3100 block of Victory Drive (Budgetel Inn & Suites) in reference to a shooting. Responding officers discovered a Black male (later identified as Xavier Igus, 31) suffering from a gunshot wound.

On November 16, 2025, the Columbus Police Department’s Special Operations Unit arrested Jy’Keiveous Jiles, 21, in connection with the deadly shooting of Walter Christopher, 39.

Ty’Quavious Richmond, Patrick Montgomery, Jr., and Dereon Montgomery were sentenced Thursday for the 2024 shooting death of 16-year-old Dennie Henderson outside the Springhill Suites on Whittlesey Blvd

***UPDATE*** On November 4, 2025, the Columbus Police Department’s Fugitive Unit arrested 31-year-old Keshon Corbin. He is charged with Murder in connection with the death of Jabreia Burston.

22-year-old Marques Lattimore has been arrested in connection with the death of Jabreia Burston. He appeared in Recorder's Court and pleaded not guilty to charges of Murder, Armed Robbery, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. Lattimore was denied bond.
