On Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 3:21 a.m., Columbus Police Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd regarding a dispute between neighbors

Tararus Toliver, 24, has been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting that occurred Wednesday, September 16, 2026, in the 3000 block of Victory Drive (Motel 6).

Two arrests have been made in connection with the deadly shooting of Davon Wallace Grimes, 34.

On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the Columbus Police Department’s Fugitive Unit arrested Richard Upshaw III. The following day, the Fugitive Unit, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service, arrested Allen Williams.
