On January 24, 2025 at 5:25 p.m., Columbus Police Officers responded to the 6500 block of Buena Vista Road regarding the discovery of a deceased individual. Upon arrival, officers found a Black male (later identified as Rashod Barrett, 17) deceased from a gunshot wound.
