The Community Service Division mission is to provide the citizens and the City of Columbus with the best quality of service in litter removal through the safest and most cost effective way possible.

Signing up for Community Service

For instructions on signing up for Community Service please call office at 706-225-4949 between Business Office Hours posted.” below. Each person assigned to Public Works Community Service must sign up prior to beginning to perform his or her hours of community service. Log sheets and/or completion letters are only filled out for work done with Public Works Community Service.

The Community Service hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Tuesday through Friday.

Hours of Operation

Community Service is performed from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM everyday with the exception of Sunday's.
