Therapeutics Recreation

Therapeutic recreation is a program designed for persons with disabilities in the Columbus, Georgia Community. A variety of adapted programs are offered which includes physical activity, socialization, and cognitive development. All persons 18 years old and over with disabilities are invited to participate. We offer no "one-on-one" assistance, but will accommodate all persons and their assistants. Our goal is to provide you with a lifetime learning experience in recreation, training in special olympic sports, creative and fun leisure skills.Therapeutics participants meet at the Pop Austin Recreation Center at Alexander park where they enjoy a variety of activities.
