Columbus Parks & Recreation offers a vibrant selection of cultural arts studios that serve as creative hubs for the community. These include Britt David Studio, a well-equipped ceramics center known for its pottery classes and exhibitions; Northside Pottery Studio, which provides a more intimate setting for ceramic arts with a focus on wheel throwing and hand-building; and Psalmond Road Studio, a family-friendly venue offering seasonal workshops and mixed arts programming. 6 weeks sessions and classes are designed for exploration of hand building and wheel throwing pottery techniques for the beginner. While taking extended adult classes, 2 hours of practice time on Mondays at Britt David Studio is included to work on new skills learned in class. This class is designed to prepare students to become pottery members here at Britt David Cultural Arts Studios. You need to purchase a basic pottery kit from local craft shop or order online. 15 years and older can take any of the adult classes.

Classes are $11.25 from ages 5-12, $15 from ages 13-17.
