Recreation Centers

The Recreation Centers operated by Columbus Georgia Parks & Recreation serve as vibrant community hubs offering a wide range of programs and services for residents of all ages. These centers provide safe, inclusive spaces for fitness, sports, arts, education, and social activities. The Fluellen Recreation Center at 8th Street Park features a game room, multi-purpose activity room, full sized kitchen, basketball courts, a playground, a memorial garden, and a recreation center.

Recreation Center Rules

  • Every person entering the facility must sign in at the front desk
  • No school students allowed in building until after 3:00 pm
  • No child/children are allowed in the building under the age of 10 without adult supervision
  • Absolutely no profanity, fighting, horseplaying, etc. in the building
  • Upon entering the building all persons must remove hats, "do-rags", bandanas, etc. 
  • No sagging pants, tank tops, biker shorts, or sports bra may be worn without a shirt over them
  • No smoking in or in front of the building
