The Recreation Centers operated by Columbus Georgia Parks & Recreation serve as vibrant community hubs offering a wide range of programs and services for residents of all ages. Bibb Manufacturing Company built Comer Auditoriumin 1941, finishing construction just before the start of WW II.  Long a cultural landmark and centerpiece of Bibb City, among its features is an iconic cupola located atop the gymnasium and several ornate doors that were restored, painted, and hung in the building entrance.  The Comer Center, formally known as Comer Auditorium, houses the Recreation Services Division.
