ATTENTION
Unfortunately, due to COVID19 and Monkeypox, we feel that it is in the best interest of our students to postpone the YAC. Our plan was to hold in-person meetings and don’t feel virtual meetings will provide the experiential learning that we want the students to walk away within.
We continue to pray that this will soon be over so we can get back to some sense of normalcy. We definitely want to be able to get YAC back up, but the safety of our youth comes first.

Mission: To broaden the scope of youth leadership in Columbus, Georgia through volunteerism, service and initiatives that are directed towards allowing youth input into policy issues, identifying youth issues, and participating in the development of positive solutions.
YAC meetings are held every 4th Monday of each month during the school term at the CCG Citizens Service Center in Council Chambers. All meetings begin at 6:00 pm. Our meetings are also broadcast by CCG-TV, check your TV listings for the correct channel and time (look for Government Access Channel).
The YAC meets every 4th Monday in Council Chambers in the new City Services Center off Macon Road.
