Columbus Police Department Successfully Executes Warrant Roundup

On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the Columbus Police Department's Fugitive Unit conducted a warrant roundup, targeting individuals with outstanding warrants in the Columbus area. Approximately 22 individuals were sought throughout the city, with a focused effort on apprehending those wanted for various offenses. During the operation, which involved searches within high-crime areas, officers from various specialized units worked in coordination to locate and apprehend the wanted individuals.

Juvenile Charged with Involuntary Manslaughter

On Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 6:14 p.m., Columbus Police Officers were dispatched to Piedmont Columbus Regional concerning a person who arrived at the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite several attempts of resuscitation, the victim (later identified as Timothy Holloway, Jr., 16) succumbed to his injuries.
