The Mission of the Public Works Department is to efficiently, effectively, and equitably, provide services to the citizens of Columbus, Georgia in the areas listed below. Public Works will continuously strive to enhance the quality of life for the citizens and employees in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. We will be innovative and use industry best practices in our daily activities.
