An individual who dies (also called a decedent) and who has no will is said to have died intestate. To handle the property of the decedent, in most circumstances, the Probate Court will need to appoint an administrator/personal representative.
The administration is filled in the Probate Court of the county in which the decedent was domiciled at death.
